Kinz Wedding Invites
Wedding Invites and RSVP Cards
For this freelance project, I was commissioned by a great friend of mine to create their wedding invites and RSVP cards. As this couple got married in the midst of a pandemic, we created two versions of the RSVP Card, one that was meant for the in person ceremony, and one that was designed for guests to attend virtually. This was a more out of the box project for me, and though it was a project I was able to have fun with, it is still one that I am incredibly proud of.
Base Invite and Details Card
The initial invite was universal - going out to both virtual and in-person guests. The invite fits the bride and groom's personalities, fun loving while also having a clean look.
The details card gave each person from both ceremony types all information needed. The address to the reception grounds was the only item thought to be left out of the details card, as to avoid guests arriving to the in-person event when there was no seat for them.
In-Person RSVP Card
The in-person RSVP card included a place for the bride and groom to determine to each guest how many seats were being given. On the back, alongside "happily accept" and "regretfully decline", we decided to add in an option to attend the ceremony virtually, for guests who were weary of attending such a large event during a pandemic. We made sure to preface that there was limited availability for in--person guests, as to allow those who were invited to attend in-person to feel honored, but also to avoid concerns about plus ones and other add-ons.
Virtual RSVP Card
The Virtual RSVP Card has the same base as the in-person card. We carefully crafted the card statement as to not offend anyone that was given a virtual invite, as anyone who is invited to their special day (in either regard) was significant to them.
